Murray Sabrin is Against the UIGEA

Thank you Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), Rep. Jim Kasper (R-ND), Former Senator Alfonse D'Amato (R-NY) and Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL). And here's to future Senator Murray Sabrin (R-NJ).

Murray is against the UIGEA which made funding online poker accounts illegal. However, online poker is legal in many States and the UIGEA is unconstitutional and was stealthy added to the 2006 Port Security Bill.

In the video below, Wayne Abernathy of the American Bankers Association (AMA) says this about the cost of the UIGEA in response to Ron Paul:
As you correctly point out, nearly of all of that burden, nearly all of that burden is gathering data on law abiding people conducting legal transactions, that's how this could eventually evolve....what defies really the cost of all of this is, we don't know what is unlawful, what is illegal and as long as that burden is on us, estimating its pretty close to impossible.

Ron Paul and Reason Editor, Radley Balko, on why the UIGEA is unconstitutional:
